Aurora - Robot Ruins by OatmealFTLOTUDO Aurora - Robot Ruins by OatmealFTLOTUDO
From "Foundation and Earth" by Asimov, the scene where they find the 20000 year old robot on Aurora. I thought it was a neat concept.

Made with:
Pens
Sharpies
Green highlighter
Black magic marker
White acrylic paint

Brilliant drawing! The visual aspect of that scene always was intriguing.
(Also I happened to notice your signature. Fellow TOS lover? Hi there! =D)

Thank you! Science fiction ruins in general I think are very visualy interesting.
And yes, I am a TOS fan. The rice-picker quote is hillarious.

Science fiction visuals in general are, but I see your meaning. ;)
It is indeed. As is 'that helmet covers a multitude of sins.' :XD:

All that from household supplies? You are magic. Get a tablet and become magic-er.

Thank you.

I have a tablet. I use it for messing around on photoshop, but I like drawing on paper better.

Me too, but a tablet does have its advantages. You can't, for example, fix a mistake in pen+ink by pressing ctrl+z.

And then the robot rises from its abandoned grave with a vengeance against humans: "you do unessential things"
