Don't You remember?

This was the second quarter project in my art class this year. The assignment: Human suffering (with the sub-assignment that there had to be a human figure in it somewhere).
Mine is a representation of Altzheimer's/Senility/Any form of memory loss.
Each picture on the person is a memory. They progress forward in time going from the person's feet to their head. The older memories are supposed to be fuzzier and less concrete (so they are drawings rather than photos). There are blotches where the memories are being eaten away, and also there is a point near the top of person's head where the person has lost the ability to form new memories.
I chose this subject because I think that damage to one's mind, particularly memories (which are the base of every thing else about a person) is much worse than anything that can happen to them physically.

All of the photographs in this were taken by me or people in my family. Most of the people in them are my relatives.
Most of the photographs were edited so that they would look blurry or more surreal.
